Supporting the sales frontline

The world of healthcare and meditech is highly competitive and went through a ferociously difficult time in 2020/21. Despite this, sales teams need to stay confident and focussed to work with their customers to hit their targets and provide the best solutions for patients.

Lives rebuilt

For Stryker Trauma and Extremities division, we created a video led campaign to inform and inspire the sales team in equal measure.

Instead of clinician focussed features based storytelling, it centred around the ultimate product benefits, ie what the solutions would really mean for patients and the huge numbers of people helped by Stryker products: How they can go back to or continue to be active, play sport or even more simply, play with the grandchildren or walk to the shops.

Emotive, inspiring, brand driven - and enabling the Stryker team to confidently sell and provide not just the strategic, technical and numerical evidence but a feeling for the real meaning and stories behind every single one of those numbers. Hence reasons to believe, for the sales team and reasons to choose Stryker products for clinicians and procurement.

The video is updated with the current number of ‘lives rebuilt’ every quarterly sales meeting, and the 2 million target for end of 2024 looks very much achievable!

Getting the right teams on board

We may work globally and nationally for many clients but we are very proud to support York and North Yorkshire in economic development and community engagement in a world of fierce public and private sector competition.

Challenges and opportunities need to be grabbed with both hands and oh how much easier it is with the best people working together, especially when time is NOT available.

In two weeks from brief to a very hectic morning in July we supported the City of York to welcome a government minister and present them with the city and region’s bid to become Great British Railways HQ. Strategic advice, videos, presentations, displays and just plain “sleeves rolled up” working together with the City of York Council, partners and key suppliers, delivered a successful, on time event to both woo Westminster and engage regional and national stakeholders.

Just a week later, with one week’s notice this time, we then delivered key communications for a celebration of the signing of the region’s historic devolution deal. It’s a project we’ve been part of for over two years developing a campaign framework, messaging, video and social media assets, mixing key information and facts with the essential emotional engagement to really make it hit home with all the many community, business and government audiences

The results - £500m of central government investment and funding to ignite a greener, fairer, stronger region for all.

At time of writing, political upheavals mean that no decision has been made re GBR HQ, but regardless we know stakeholders involved have seen a confident and exceptional place to invest, grow and develop through the work we’ve done. Onwards and upwards, York and North Yorkshire.
