Helping Yorkshire food and drink businesses MAKE IT!
The Supply Chain Network
It’s a privilege to be trusted by regional development agencies to support initiatives to transform businesses, communities and people with our creative thinking and practical hands on project management: Lobbying governments, persuading investors or galvanising grass roots action.
Or, in this case, creating a practical and inspiring video toolkit for The Supply Chain Network to support micro and SME food and drink businesses in the East Riding, York and North Yorkshire – the birthplace of some brilliant brands such as Yorkshire Tea and KitKat.
After all, it’s tough when you’re starting out, brewing in your utility room, making jam in the garage or diversifying into fava bean snacks from a Wolds farm. Hence, our client wanted to create a set of videos to guide small businesses and provide the knowledge, understanding and practical tools to confidently grow their business and make it to the next level.
We brought our creative ideas and project management expertise, developing the toolkit name and visual identity, storyboards, scripts, all partner liaison and then filming and producing the five videos.
Featuring regional experts, it mixes down to earth guides and advice with real life experiences from the people and businesses making it already.
Katheryn Gregory, project manager for The Supply Chain Network,
“We needed a partner who understood the needs of the businesses and could bring stand out creative ideas and a collaborative, hands on approach to deliver the project. Ideas Group provided all that and more.”
Ann Gurnell, marketing director at Ideas Group
“We love supporting economic development teams in the region and the amazing businesses and people out there. Gin to potions, beer to jam and beans, we get their challenges and this toolkit will help them find solutions and focus to make it to the next level.”
The results:
A valuable resource for local SME’s in the Food and Drink sector.
Engaged partners and businesses and the profile and potential of the region raised.
