Adapting the message to save more lives

Communicating the benefits of our client’s innovative LIFEPAK CR2 Defibrillator has previously been targeted at healthcare professionals, so the language and messaging has always been technical and clinical. A different approach was needed to engage with the public and lay people.

We developed a simple storyline to highlight the features and specifically, the ease of use of the product, then creating powerful benefits led headlines. A strong bold distinct visual concept followed.

A comprehensive suite of materials was developed across all channels online and offline, including: video animation, presentation, display graphics, tradeshow collateral, direct mail, brochures and advertising. The marketing material was then produced in seven languages for use through the Stryker distribution partners across Europe.

Results: An engaged and confident sales and distribution team; increased understanding of Public Access defibrillators and a notable uptake in sales.
